MEET THE FOUNDER

Maral Azimi

Maral Azimi is the founder of Harmony & Pulse a psychotherapist (RSW), educator, researcher, and doctorate candidate in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Her clinical work has lived inside hospital systems, complex medical cases, and the quiet moments when a woman is handed a diagnosis and little else. That gap between what's happening in the body and what's happening to the mind, identity, and relationships around it is what Harmony & Pulse was built to close.

OUR APPROACH

Every transition affects more than one part of life. It can change how you feel in your body, how you see yourself, and how you relate to the people around you.

Our integrative approach brings together evidence-informed psychotherapy, education, body awareness, and practical tools. Therapy is tailored to your needs and may draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, attachment-based work, interpersonal therapy, mindfulness, self-compassion, and Hakomi-informed, body-centred practices.

Together, we help you understand what you are experiencing, connect with what you need, and navigate the path ahead.

We’re here for you

Medicine can treat the symptoms. Therapy, education, and supportive care can help women make sense of the experience.
The Whole Experience

Your emotional experience deserves care, too.

From fertility and pregnancy to postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause, these experiences can affect far more than the body. They can shape mood, identity, relationships, confidence, sleep, stress, and the way a woman understands herself.

We believe women deserve a place where those experiences can be explored with compassion, curiosity, and professional support.

Medicine can treat the symptoms. Therapy, education, and supportive care can help women make sense of the experience.

Our Story

Physical care and emotional care should never feel separate.

Harmony & Pulse grew from a simple belief: women should not have to choose between caring for their physical health and caring for their emotional health.

Reproductive and hormonal transitions are often discussed through appointments, test results, symptoms, medications, and treatment plans. Yet the emotional impact can be just as significant.

The waiting. The uncertainty. The identity shifts. The relationship strain. The anxiety. The grief.

Harmony & Pulse exists to create space for those parts of the experience too.

Our Mission

Helping women feel informed, understood, and supported.

To provide compassionate, informed mental health and wellness support for women navigating reproductive and hormonal transitions.

We help women better understand their emotional experiences, strengthen their capacity to cope with change, and feel supported alongside the medical care their bodies may need.

Our Vision

A trusted destination for women’s health and wellbeing.

Our long-term vision is an integrated ecosystem where women can access psychotherapy, education, community, resources, workshops, and trusted multidisciplinary professionals in one supportive space.

From fertility through menopause, Harmony & Pulse is being built to grow with the women and communities we serve.

Our Values

The principles behind the care we provide.

03

Education Creates Confidence

Understanding what is happening can reduce fear, confusion, and isolation.

04

Collaboration, Not Competition

Mental health support and medical care can work alongside one another.

05

Connection Matters

Community, relationships, and shared experience can be powerful sources of support.

06

Care That Evolves With You
