Meet the Founder

Meet Maral.

A therapist creating space for women to understand the emotional experience behind the transitions their bodies are moving through.

Harmony & Pulse was created from a belief that women deserve care that recognizes the connection between emotional wellbeing, the nervous system, relationships, and reproductive health.

Maral Azimi, founder of Harmony and Pulse

Women’s mental health through the lens of transition, connection, and nervous-system awareness.

Why Harmony & Pulse

Because the emotional experience matters, too.

Medicine can treat the symptoms. Therapy, education, and supportive care can help women make sense of the experience.

Reproductive and hormonal transitions can change more than the body. They can affect identity, relationships, confidence, emotional regulation, stress tolerance, and the way a woman experiences herself.

Harmony & Pulse was created to make space for that part of the experience — while respecting the important role of medical and allied-health care.

The goal is not to separate emotional wellbeing from physical health, but to recognize that women often need support for both.

My Approach

Understanding before fixing.

Therapy begins by understanding your experience in the context of your life, your relationships, your body, and the transition you are navigating.

01

Emotional Understanding

We make space to understand what you are feeling rather than rushing to minimize, explain away, or immediately change it.

02

Nervous-System Awareness

We explore how stress and change show up in the body and build practical ways to recognize and respond to those patterns.

03

The Whole Context

Your emotions do not exist in isolation. Relationships, health, identity, responsibilities, expectations, and life stage all matter.

04

Collaborative Care

Psychotherapy can work alongside the medical and allied-health care you may need, supporting the emotional side of the experience without replacing physical healthcare.

A Different Kind of Space

You do not have to reduce your experience to a symptom list.

You may arrive knowing exactly what you want to talk about, or simply knowing that something feels different.

My role is to help you slow down enough to understand what is happening emotionally and how stress, change, relationships, expectations, and your nervous system may be shaping that experience.

Therapy is not about telling you what you should feel. It is about creating enough space to understand what you do feel — and what you may need next.

Collaborative Care

Emotional support does not have to exist separately from physical care.

When appropriate, Harmony & Pulse can help clients connect with trusted medical and allied-health professionals so that psychotherapy can remain one part of a broader, collaborative approach to wellbeing.

Start Where You Are

You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out.

If something feels difficult, overwhelming, or simply different, therapy can offer a place to begin understanding it.
